It takes another look at a painting -- especially when hung on the wall in a new location -- to say to oneself: "I need to add just a little something more!"
And, thus I did exactly that with a few edits. And, now I am very pleased with this painting and have already another painting to share...see the "Welcome" page.
Yikes, artists have a ton of avenues to travel along, and I am really giving
myself the freedom to explore many more canvases.
I am submitting this painting for artistic review and I will let you know what happens.

It appears as though you get another look at my painting in progress.
I am working in a great studio with lots of eyes watching me, and very thankful for the opportunity to have suggestions from classmates, as well as from our art guru, Deborah Gooch. The conversations are very thoughtful and helpful, and because I believe I will never stop learning, I listen carefully and try new things regularly.
I hope you enjoy this process as much as I do!
Thanks for looking and being supportive.

It looks like I've started a new habit. I can't seem to finish my paintings as quickly
as I would like. I am laboring over details, changing up my color palette and exploring in every new way that I can imagine.
This new procedure is freeing me up, but it also is very challenging.
Sometimes I paint myself into a box...then I ask myself:
"What the heck are you doing?"
But, I remain happy! My art excites me, stimulates my mind
and allows me to really explore color and movement and composition.
I love being an artista!
