A Neglected Memory, mixed media on birch, 6 x 4"
As you probably have noticed, 99% of my paintings-a-day have included flowers. And, yes I love my garden. But, winter is really here in CA and I am not finding many of the secret gems I had been admiring just a few days ago.
But, today, I did see a lovely camellia that reminded me I needed to write a note to a very good friend. I think that thought was hanging in my head, along with being happy with some of my recent collage paintings, and I decided I would combine both images in a random way. And thus "A Neglected Memory" was born.
