They Are Still Dancing, mixed media, 12 x 12"
Another all palette knife painting, same arrangement of flowers, but this time, I allowed much more of the previous under-painting to show. After all, do I really need to obliterate what came first on the canvas? I don’t think so. In fact, having the first incarnation on the canvas allows me to explore the values, and make decisions as to whether or not I will use all, part or none of the prior painting.
