I've got to say that working with impasto has been a real treat...I wish I could be super brave like my artist friend Richard Messenger, but, unfortunately, I keep shying away from building a stronger texture than what you see here.

Lovely, definitely a "Grandma Dodge" piece. She would love the soft pastel roses.
