It's OK to have a reality check once in a while. As well, it is OK to find that a lack of reality is sometimes refreshing!
This painting started on an old canvas, and I simply used the color and space, edited what I saw and continued with the addition of the only two flowers in my garden.
My palette knife is a steady partner now on my canvas. I am feeling more free and playful. And, this change of attitude feels very good.
