Day Nine...moving right along

Shapes were my focus this time! From the shadows to the vessels to the flowers' petals to the negative spaces. I think this painting works...on a different level than others. It was an experiment, and I am thankful I completed the painting.
​One day these flowers will jump right off the page, but for the moment, subtle substance is what I am working on.
