Day Six ..."A Shot in the Dark"

This painting continued my challenge of looking at a still life from a different perspective. And, I did paint on top of an old painting that needed assistance.

The composition is new…but there are bits and piece of color showing through from the original painting.

In the midst of organizing my composition, I found myself running around the house to find pieces from our travels that would add some interest and moments of contemplation. Perhaps the viewer would say: What????

I find this painting-a-day very challenging, especially over a holiday weekend. But…I am sticking to my commitment.
