I saw dawn this morning…and my husband has arrived at the start line for his 1000- mile car tour through Idaho. He is thrilled to be making this special journey, and meanwhile I’ve been lucky to attend our amazing friend’s 80th birthday celebration. Funny how life offers reminders about the many paths one can choose…all wrapped around passions, if one is lucky enough to find that special love in life that makes getting up in the morning that much more rewarding.
Life tends to offer choices. Options can come in all shapes and sizes, colors and density. Take a look at the vases for these flowers -- each painted in a different color, and yet you know they are containers with lovely floral arrangements. The flowers have their own color and density and definition, and the foreground, background and middle grounds offer up some interesting shifts for perspective.
If these options weren’t available, how would we be able to judge our interpretations? Where would we look for guidance?
