Strangers on the Train, oil on canvas, 8 x 8"
The New Year...always a challenge, but also a great opportunity to take charge of one's destiny! Proudly, I accomplished putting my goals on paper -- oh my -- and now, I have to re-read that list and keep focused all year long. But, I have given myself permission to edit my goals as I move through this process.
Meanwhile, I decided that to grow artistically, I had to acknowledge that I might occasionally stumble. I will be trying to create with some of my old favorites like paper, oil and acrylic, but I believe it is important to insert new media -- i.e. pen/ink, watercolor, oil sticks and anything else that seems appropriate "in the moment.”
Enough about me. I wish all of you success as you travel through your journey -- be prepared for the best!
