I think 2015 is the year of “start over and punt!”
Gosh, first our roof developed a leak, which left a beautiful scar on our ceiling.
Then we learned all nine of our roof vents needed replacing.
From there, my wonderful husband had unexpected surgery, and today (eight weeks later) he is actually doing very well!
Next, my computer presented more than it’s share of difficulties, especially in
the midst of taking an on-line art business program with Xanadu Gallery in
Scottsdale, AZ.
But, the icing on the cake turns out to be a challenge I accepted:
to paint one painting a day for 30 straight days with Leslie Saeta.
Leslie asked that her participants pick a theme. My theme is “Building on Foundations”. My format will be to continue with the new concept I have been working on for the last few weeks, while Ned recuperated: start with an old canvas (my foundation) and work over it with something fresh, that appears to get my attention on a daily basis. And with that said, I share with you “Growing Pains”.
