Aside from life, painting can be heavenly one day and totally exhausting on another. Unfortunately, today was very difficult. Maybe the size of the canvas got to me, or maybe my creative juices simply didn’t want to kick in, or just maybe….I was having a kink in my paint brush. Whatever…I have finished Day Three of the Thirty Day Challenge. “Before the Summer Festival” breathes with the energy of saying goodbye to summer … one for our family that wasn’t “typical.” And, now it is time to change attitudes and say “hurray for routine" and preparing for the excitement of fall. |

Day 3, it's going to be interesting to see day 30. What a fun competitive, challenging commitment. The colors are bright and the flowers quite delicate. Can't ever tire of seeing your beautiful work. Whatever you consider it to be good, fair of not your favorite. All are a challenge.

Dear Snapper, I appreciate your sharing your thoughts. I am working on this as if I was in college...tomorrow will be difficult. This process isn't getting easier.

Another beautiful one Cree! So much emotion, and I love how you blend abstraction and realism with such feeling.
