Wow...Our recent vacation was wonderful...our friends and family were terrific...we covered a lot of ground on the east coast...and now we are home!
Meanwhile, I learned something very valuable on this trip. I saw a painting I created in 2009 while Ned and I were living in Blowing Rock, NC. At the time, I couldn't make my mind up about the piece, but when I saw the painting hanging in a 100-year-old North Carolina cottage, I had an immediate connection with it's vague soft colors, and true green hues -- it represented early spring as only the mountains can. I was honored to have the opportunity to see my painting in place.
