Cree shares her color thoughts ...
I am a happy mid-life painter. My prior life was used for recording inspirations and digesting images.
I believe my paintings sing with color! And, there is no doubt in my mind that color was created for exploration and story telling. From a quiet moment of contemplation to an interior view that conjures a connection to landscapes that calls my attention, I move my paintbrush to define an instant in time that feels right.
Without color, I would be lost. Believe it or not: I have limited my oil and acrylic palettes. Each color has become a voice of its own or when blended with other colors, I create many more additional sensual colorful treats. And, I have found that I truly love collage! (The piece above is one of my very first paintings that included collage and I have now adapted a great deal of energy working collage into my latest paintings.)
Clients tell me that my paintings greet them with
a smile and encourage a positive approach to every day.
I really enjoy hearing from visitors to my site.
Drop me a line or give me a call. I do want to know what you think. I am sure you feel as though you grow when you have to articulate what you like.
Well, imagine what an artist thinks when she connects with her visitors! Most frequently we each are happy!
I hope you will share your thoughts...!!!
