A Little Bit of a Story
As I embarked on this "small project" I had a particular goal in mind...EXPLORING SHAPES!
I thought that as young children are looking at art they should be aware of the various ways that artists keep their viewers moving their eyes thru a flat surface.
When parents discuss art with their children, a dialogue develops.
Art is stimulating and offers a totally different opportunity to create conversations with young and older viewers. Each viewer will see something that attracts his/her attention more readily than the other observers. And, wow....then the dialogue explodes.
I loved even playing with the edges of these paintings. No need for a frame...just more opportunity to see the free spirit of artistic creations!
Please check out the "Birds' Eye View" below the four paintings.
Thanks for listening.
Each of these pieces has a new home except for "A Slice of Life"
